Do you know what I mean, it's like when Ryan was getting all upset because Daniel says I Don't Care all the time to him and I would never say I Don't Care to someone, but maybe some people say it all the time so it means something different.
Like how some people never use any dirty swears so when they do it means something different than it would if someone who always uses dirty swears was going around swearing as per normal.
It's like how some people save up their compliments for special occasions and then they mean a lot but some people never give any and so when they do you don't believe them. Or you know, you think that they've observed themselves doing that and so are just chucking some in. Or it's only because..
You know when you're upset and people say nice things, it's hard to tell if they're thinking this is an apt time to express their honest thinkings or if they're just trying to get you to stop and be normal again.
This isn't me being cynical, this is me pondering.
I'm definitely getting an N for my staging concept for A Midsummer Night's Dream but I thought it was pretty cool.
It was in an abandoned carpark building with flaming oil drums and the duke was the leader of an urban street tribe in the 80s and there were brightly coloured Trans Ams and leather trousers and fluoro face paint and the fairies were gypsies and the part where they all get lost in the forest was going to be done with a black light and electronica.
Well I thought it would be cool. Maybe I'll stage that one day.
